Operaters are great to use because they can expand or narrow the search that you are looking for which can be useful. Operaters are a key to being a power searcher. When you send a query into a search engine, you must look past the first page of the results because you don't always get what you are looking for on the first try. You should use different search engines because all search engines are different and recieve different information. Also when you are using a search engine, you aren't searching the live web. You are only searching the search engine's data base.
This week I learned the difference between querry and question. I also didn't know what search indexes do. In the future I will use more web searches so I get more of a veriety of results back.
Today I learned a lot about operaters and search engines databases. I had never heard of operators before this week and I'm sure they will help my futer searching skills. And I also didn't realize that it took so much work and thought into search engines, I just expected the pages to come up, and now I see that the smallest differences can completely change your results.

When you are using a search engine you should not ask questions. Dont use questions because they have stop words that limit your search. Queres are good to use. We learned how to become "power searchers" and what words will help us find what we are looking for easier.
I have enjoyed having Mr.Morrow as our sub. I really liked the movies we watched wednesday. They were really fun and i learned alot of stuff about the internet with them. Searching for the author was fun beccause it wasn't hard but it wasn't easy. I've had alot of fun this week.
these last couple days I learned about to search for stuff on the enternet and the differents between a qeury and a question but the most effective thing I learned was not us stop words.
